Application Tool:

• You can apply this product using an Osmo Flat Brush, Floor Brush, Osmo Microfibre Roller, or FloorXcenter.

Recommended Use:

• Ideal for interior wooden flooring and furniture.

Coating and Care:

• Recoat: One coat should be sufficient, but you can recoat when signs of wear become visible.

Sizes:

• Available in 5ml, 125ml, 750ml, and 2.5L sizes.

Dry Time:

• Allow 24 hours for the finish to fully dry.

Coverage:

• You can achieve approximately 30m² per litre with one coat.

Surface Preparation:

• Ensure that the wood surface is clean, dry, and frost-free, with a moisture content max. 18%.

• Clean old microporous stains thoroughly, and remove old paints and lacquers.

• Sand wood surfaces carefully, starting with coarse sandpaper and finishing with finer sandpaper.

Method of Application:

• For dark and absorbent wood, apply thinly along the wood grain and spread well with an Osmo Flat Brush, Osmo Microfibre Roller, or Floor Brush.

• Allow to dry for approximately 24 hours under good ventilation.

• After drying, apply a second coat with clear Osmo Polyx-Oil for additional protection.

• For lightly colored wood species, make the desired effect visible by applying Osmo Wood Wax Finish Black 3169 thinly along the wood grain.

• Spread it well and rub it into the wood with a single-disc machine.

• Allow it to dry for at least 24 hours with good ventilation.

• Afterward, apply Osmo Polyx-Oil Effect Silver/Gold with an Osmo Floor Brush thinly and quickly.

• If necessary, remove excess Silver/Gold with a lint-free cloth or Osmo Easy Pad.

• Allow it to dry for at least 24 hours under good ventilation.

• Finally, apply a top coat thinly with clear Osmo Polyx-Oil.

Note:

• Oils enhance the natural tone of wood, creating a permanent wet effect. Avoid applying the product too generously and ensure proper ventilation to prevent delays in drying.

• For hardwoods rich in extractives (e.g., Wenge, Merbau, Jatoba, Teak, Mahogany), consider using Osmo Wood Wax Finish Clear Extra Thin. A trial application is recommended.

• On lightly colored wood species, the effect may not be visible without the application of a dark-colored base coat.

• Using general or multi-purpose cleaners will increase the frequency of maintenance and recoating. Allow the finish to fully cure before heavy usage.

Care:

• Regular Cleaning: Dust mopping using the green Dust-Mop from the Osmo Mop Cleaning Kit for Floors. Damp mopping using Osmo Wash and Care or Osmo Spray-Mop.

• Occasional Maintenance: Intensive cleaning and refreshing using Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner or Osmo Maintenance Oil.

• Recoating: Simply re-apply one coat onto the clean and dry surface when signs of wear become visible.
