HG Hagesan permanent anti-slip
APPLICATION: Roughens the surface of slippery tiles and natural stone floors, as well as enamel And ceramic shower trays and baths.
HG permanent anti-slip creates a safe grip-surface on smooth tiles and natural stonework used for (floor) surfaces and, also, in showers and baths with enamel or ceramic surfaces. Starting from now, you no longer need to be afraid of slipping in the bathroom, on the stairs, in the entrance hall, etc. HG permanent anti-slip is suitable for use indoors and outdoors.
Using HG polish, wax and dirt remover, thoroughly clean the surface that is to be treated, removing all dirt and grease. If the surface is marble, use HG marble shine finish remover. Rinse the surface perfectly clean, with water and, using a sponge or water vacuum cleaner, remove all remaining water. Allow the surface to dry. Ensure that the surface that is to be treated with HG permanent anti-slip is carefully isolated from other parts of the base-material, so that the coating remains intact on the area that is being treated. A good way to do this is to apply 2 layers of masking tape round the perimeter of the area that is to be treated. When applying HG Permanente anti-slip to floors, dilute the product with water on a 1 to 1 ratio. When applying the product to shower cubicles and bathtubs, use HG Permanente anti-slip undiluted. Be sure to use gloves during the treatment. Apply the (diluted) product with a sponge and use it to keep the surface moist during the settling period. Comply with the settling period as indicated in the user instructions on the bottle. After the settling period, rinse the surface with HG remover, or in case of marble, with HG marker shine finish remover in the dilution ratio indicated on the corresponding labels. Rinse with water to remove any possible residue. Undiluted, a surface of approx. 2m² can be treated with HG Permanente slip, diluted 4 m².
Preliminary treatment: Use HG remover / HG polish wax and dirt remover or HG marble shine finish remover / HG stripper for marble, to clean the surface to be treated and remove traces of grease and old polish etc. Rinse the surface thoroughly with water (using a floor cloth or a mop).In the case of floors, remove excess water using a sponge or water vacuum Cleaner. Let the surface dry naturally. Ensure that any surfaces being treated are well screened off so that the liquid remains on these surfaces. This can be achieved using 2 layers of masking tape, for example. Action period: Natural stone 7 - 10 min Ceramic tiles, shower trays and baths 7 - 15 min Concrete 7 - 10 min Enamel 4 - 8 min Treatment: Wear rubber gloves to protect your hands. Apply the (diluted) product using a sponge (see dosage instructions) and make sure that the surface remains moistened by the product during the action period
