The Clean Air Bill regulates in Smoke Control Areas that only permitted smokeless fuel may be burned. Multi Fuel and wood is not an accepted smokeless fuel and the only way in which these fuels can be burned lawfully in a smoke less area is if the solid fuel or wood burning stove are approved by DEFRA.
